Remarks by Ralph Winnie, Jr. to Uzbek National TV, June 2014
Dear President Karimov and the People of the Republic of Uzbekistan:
My name is Ralph E. Winnie, Jr. from Washington, D.C. (USA) I am Vice President of Global Business Development for the Eurasian Business Coalition which is dedicated to preserving the goals of environmental sustainable development and the promotion of business development, tax and trade between the United States and Eurasia. It is an honor and a privilege to be selected as part of the delegation from the United States to participate in such a dynamic and ground breaking conference, focusing on developing new strategies for agriculture and food production in Uzbekistan.
As someone who has worked extensively on developing international business strategies and reviewing business models for clients to ensure conformity with local laws and business practices, the Eurasian Business Coalition is very pleased to engage and cooperate with the Government of Uzbekistan to enhance food production. The Eurasian Business Coalition, through its extensive network of strategic relationships and highly placed partners in the business and political sphere have been presented a number of innovative business opportunities in bio mass, ethanol and green energy. The kinds of technologies these business opportunities provide should be extremely beneficial to the nation of Uzbekistan as these technologies have already led to tremendous increases in the production of US farmers which have ensured an ample supply of grain available for domestic and international use as food, feed, and fuels.
The goal of these new and innovative technologies, which will be promulgated by the Eurasian Business Coalition and shared with the people of Uzbekistan, should allow farmers to get more output per acre and less land will be needed to satisfy demand for food, feed and fuel.
Furthermore, as my fellow delegates and I visit agricultural communities in Samarkand and Tashkent during the week of the conference, it is the goal of the Eurasian Business Coalition, through the utilization of one of our client projects, (Castor Bean) to show that waste water effluent can constitute an important source of irrigating water and nutrients for bio energy crop cultivation with minor adverse impacts on soil properties and seed yield.
Finally, I am very pleased to have the opportunity to represent the Eurasian Business Coalition and engage at the highest level as part of this global ground breaking conference. I look forward to working with the Government of Uzbekistan to showcase how new and innovative technologies can inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan.
