Journalist “Kazinform” Rustem Kozhybaev interviews Ralph Winnie, Jr. Regarding Kazakhstan's Geopolitical Relationship with the United States

Let me introduce myself again, journalist of the International News Agency "Kazinform" Kozhybaev Rustem.

I am preparing the article about the arrival of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in New York, as part of participation in the 78th session of the UN General Assembly (September 19-25).

Meetings with the American side (government representatives, as well as heads of financial institutions and multinational companies) will be planned during that visit.

I plan to collect American expert assessments on this topic in my article.

In this regard, I would like to hold a meeting with you to receive your expert assessments on the following issues:

- What is the agenda of the US-Kazakhstan meeting on key directions of cooperation in the political, economic spheres, including security issues?

- What areas of cooperation are currently topical (actual)? What is important for the United States in relations with Kazakhstan?

- How do you assess the results of the meeting between Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the American side last year? What results have been achieved and which have not?

- What problematic aspects of bilateral relations exist and what are the ways to solve them?
